Review: Singles Swag Subscription Box

I couldn’t resist! I signed up and received my very own Singles Swag subscription box. After all, their mission is to “make single women look and feel beautiful while empowering and inspiring them”. That’s right in line with the mission here at so I had to try it out.

I received my first box about 2 weeks after subscribing and was really excited to see what was inside. Both my kids (son, 18 and daughter, 19) gathered around for the grand opening.

The outside of the box looked just like the pictures I’d seen. Plain white with Singles Swag and #LOVEYOURSELF across the front and sides., the first thing I saw was a card that explained everything included. I received seven items in this box and it said the total retail value was $153. It was probably worth that much, although on their own, I wouldn’t have purchases all these products. But for the $39.99 I paid for the whole box and experience, it was a good value.

Here’s everything my Singles Swag box contained:

  • Canvas Pouch
  • Eye Masks
  • Cuticle Oil
  • Fruit Snacks
  • Necklace
  • Aromatherapy Roll-on
  • Lip Stain Set

My Favorite Item favorite item in the box was the Executive Society Freedom Necklace, retail value of $48.

The description card read “Love yourself with this chic, 18k gold-plated interlocking triangle necklace. Triangles are often thought to symbolize feminine strength and freedom. The necklace features an 18″ chain and 2″ extender”.

I didn’t know this about the triangles, but it’s interesting. I’ve worn this necklace several times already and like how the chain for the bottom triangle slides through the upper triangle. Least Favorite Item

My least favorite item in the box was the Doucce Luscious Lip Stain Set, retail value of $28. It’s not my least favorite because it is not good, it’s my least favorite because I don’t usually wear any lip color. I’m a Vaseline on the lips kind of girl. But, because it was included, I tried it out. It wore nicely, but I probably won’t use it much. If you like lipcolor, you’ll probably be thrilled with this set. It just wasn’t for me.

Other Items Singles Swag box also contained these items:

A POP NYC Canvas Pouch sporting the saying “Never Settle for Less Than You Deserve”. This is a nice addition, I can always use another little bag. I used this to pack my makeup on a recent business trip. And I admit, I read it every morning and really took the words to heart.

Grace and Stella Anti-Wrinkle & Energizing Eye Masks, retail value $20. I haven’t used yet but my daughter says I’m sure to love.

Pumpkin Spice Cuticle Oil, retail value $18. I’m not much of a pumpkin spice girl, but this cuticle oil smells great and does a good job on these ragged cuticles of mine. Organic Fruit Snacks, retail value $5. This contained five little individually packaged servings. They were pretty good and the kids and I ate them up fairly quick.

The box also contained¬†Mr. B’s Necessities Calming Aromatherapy Roll-on, retail value $12. I’m sorry, I’m a slacker and forgot to take a picture of this item individually. :/¬† However, you can see it in the shot of the entire box above! : ) I really enjoy using this. It’s supposed to soothe your body and mind with a combination of essential oils including almond and lavender.

Final Thoughts

So there you have it, a review of my first Singles Swag subscription box. I think it was fun and I’d be curious to see what else the folks over at Singles Sway send. I’m going to keep my subscription active and see what next month brings.
